Last week, we talked about some of the Things to do in Dripping Springs this October, and one of the events we highlighted was the 4th Annual Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival. Since this is one of the biggest music events near Austin that is also in our hometown, we wanted to take some extra time to talk about the upcoming festival.

- The Barber Shop – Firestone Walker 805 Stage
- Acopon Brewing Co. – Patio Stage
- Mercer Street Dance Hall – South Point Auto Stages
- Mazama Coffee Co. – Courtyard Stage
- Hudson’s on Mercer – Club Stage
- The Sidecar Tasting Room – Garden Stage
Benefitting Kids in a New Groove
A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be given to Kids in a New Groove. This non-profit organization is helping to inspire the next generation of songwriters by providing free, at-home music lessons and mentorship to children in the foster care system.
